We Made it to the Honor Roll of Indian Food Bloggers Awards IFBA 2015!
I found out about it yesterday but just couldn’t share with you. It was overwhelming and a lot for me to take in. I know food bloggers run after it and so it was hard for me to believe that I got it.
I mentioned this in my Facebook post about a month ago that I feel like I am on a roll. I didn’t realize at that time how far would this roll take me. But here I am.
FBAI (Food Bloggers Association, India) backed Indian Food Bloggers Awards 2015 culminated this weekend. I didn’t even know if I was shortlisted for any category. Then I received a message with the winners’ list. I scrolled to see if I can find any familiar name. It was then I saw this –
I was an IFBA 2015 winner! I was featured in the General Food Blog awards as the 2nd runner-up! I had to double check to make sure that it was me.
Jury for IFBA 2015 included Rachel Allen, Chef Ranveer Brar, Antoine Lewis, Farzana Contractor, Rushina Munshaw-Ghildiyal, Chef Vicky Ratnani, “The Foodie” Kunal and Odette Mascarenhas. It was kind of thrilling to imagine that these internationally-acclaimed celebrities and food trend setters had a look at my blog. I imagined them discussing with each other and saying, “hmmm, this YellowMellowLife is a nice blog. We like it.”
Crazy right?!

P.S. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the award ceremony. But if I did, I might have got the trophy from Sanjeev Kapoor himself!
