DIY Wall Mural – Paradise Falls (Up movie)

Pixar movies have always inspired me and Up is no different. Since I have seen the movie, I have started believing in the motto ‘Adventure is out there.’ The idea to grow old with Mr B and then live right next to a mighty gorgeous waterfall! I would give up anything to make this dream come true!

In the movie, Ellie draws an amazing painting of this dream on the wall of her living room. I have longed for that very same painting in my house ever since. But it took me years to convince myself that I CAN paint the same painting in my house.

Easy DIY Felt Flowers Rakhi Craft

I found two felt sheets in my craft box and I had an idea. Felt is such a wonderful material and it is such a perfect craft material. Whatever you make with it, felt makes it look better. And it is versatile as well. It can be used to make fashion accessories, toys, home decor items and almost everything.

So I took some inspiration from the craftsy ladies on the internet and decided that felt flowers was what I wanted to this project.

Happy Anniversary to Family Guy Fans

We have enjoyed watching Family Guy together. Actually the feeling is more than enjoy. We actually get a kick out of watching it. Others might consider Seth MacFarlane trashy, we consider him an evil genius. Family Guy is one of ‘OUR’ things that we do together as a couple. It’s like when we feel a little distant from one another, Family Guy brings us back in each other’s arms.

So for this year, we focused our anniversary card making efforts on Family Guy.

Chewy M&M’s Whole Wheat Cookies

It was Sharing Day in Little B’s school which meant that children would bring homemade snacks and would share it with their friends.
A school activity like that meant only one thing – this mama gotta bake.
A lot of things crossed my mind – sandwich, brownie, pasta – before my brainstorming led me to cookies! There isn’t a child who wouldn’t love them! I was making these for toddlers so a sweet treat within cookies like M&M’s or chocolate chips is a must.

DIY Football Jersey – The FIFA World Cup Fever

One thing Little B cannot stop talking about is Messi. Of all the football players, Messi is her favorite. I think the reason is firstly, his face appears the most on newspapers and television. Secondly, his name is pretty simple and easy for a toddler to reiterate.

So as it happened, Little B really wanted a football jersey just like Messi’s. Really, really. And we tried our best to get that jersey for her but we couldn’t find the size that would fit a 3 year old.

What I believe in is, If You Can’t Buy It, DIY It. And that’s what I did – a DIY Messi football jersey.

Dear Suarez, You Cannot Bite Off More Than You Can Chew

Though Uruguay has done it again yesterday – they have beaten Italy. Natal would not be forgotten this World Cup as it meant goodbye for the four-time champions Italy. But apart from that something else happened in Natal that stood out.

Suarez sunk again, not Italy but with his jaws. He surely was menacing but in a completely different way. Suarez ‘bit’ Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini and how.
