Pom Pom Pine Cones Christmas Ornaments | #25DaysofOrnaments | Christmas Project 2017
The best time to collect pine cones is in autumn. Especially if you want to collect good-sized nicely-opened ones. And I missed collecting them at that time. So when I decided to make these pom pom pine cones Christmas ornaments, I could only think of LittleB’s friends J&J who I knew for sure have a stash of pine cones at their house. I know, I know it is not nice to ask kids to hand me over their pine cones which they must have collected with a lot of hard work. But desperate times call for desperate measures. And it wouldn’t hurt them to share a few with me from the dozens they are hoarding, would it? 🙂
So this ornament is dedicated to J&J for being kind enough to share their pine cones with me. The ornament is as simple as almost all ornaments in this series.
