Sesame Street Inspired ‘Hand Painted – T is for Turkey’
So it was time for another round of crazy activity session with Little B. We were watching Sesame Street (boy, does that show ever stops amazing me!) and we were inspired, literally.
An artist was painting something on a hand and kids were having fun guessing what was he painting. As he kept filling colors, it is revealed that the artist has hand painted – T is for Turkey.
Wouldn’t it be lovely and crazy to paint that turkey on Little B’s hand?!
What we did next
I did not use any fancy colors, just the regular water colors palette.
Yes painting on hand of a toddler does required immense patience, both from the painter and the toddler!I thought that Little B will loose her patience first but I was so wrong. The anticipation of what is going to happen next kept her hooked. And the result was, well I feel, beautiful.
Depending on how much is your child cooperating with you, you can add more features or just do a basic turkey version. I know it is far from Thanksgiving but just in case if you are in the mood to do this activity with your kid, here’s the link
